At Krylin, your training data is personal. This policy explains what we collect, why,
and the control you have over it. We never sell your personal or health data.
Before launch, have it reviewed by a qualified professional for your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA where applicable).
§ Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Krylin we handles information when you use our mobile apps, websites, and the tools we provide to coaches (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — name, email, password, date of birth, and profile photo.
- Fitness profile — goals, experience level, height, weight, and preferences.
- Activity you log — workouts, sets, reps, personal records, nutrition and meals.
- Content you submit — messages to coaches, form-check videos, and challenge activity.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — device model, OS, app version, and feature interactions.
- Diagnostics — crash logs and performance metrics to keep the app stable.
Information from other sources
- Connected services — data you choose to sync from Apple Health, Google Fit, or wearables.
- Payment providers — subscription status (we never receive full card numbers).
2. How we use your information
- Provide and personalise your training, nutrition, and coaching.
- Sync progress between your app and your coach’s dashboard.
- Power streaks, challenges, duels, and leaderboards you opt into.
- Send service messages, reminders, and — with consent — marketing you can turn off anytime.
- Detect fraud, keep the Services secure, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Health & fitness data
Some data you log (such as body metrics or activity) may be considered sensitive or health data under applicable law. We process it only to deliver features you request and only with your consent. You can disconnect health integrations or delete this data at any time from Settings.
We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Sharing with your coach
If you connect with a coach, they can view the training, nutrition, adherence, and progress data needed to guide you — the same information shown in your app. Coaches use these tools under a contract that requires them to protect your data and use it only for coaching you.
You can end a coaching relationship at any time, which stops future data sharing with that coach.
5. Other sharing
- Service providers — hosting, analytics, and support vendors bound by confidentiality.
- Legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers — as part of a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.
- With your consent — for anything else, we ask first.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or download a copy of your data.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
9. Children’s privacy
Krylin is not intended for anyone under 16 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Services evolve. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
